I started coming across the GlobalRearch site in the early 2000's when I was studying the very powerful (at the time) Lyndon LaRouche organization and network. I think there is some common historical connection between the LaRouche organization and GlobalResearch. LaRouche intrigued me because he was rabid anti British and I accidentally came across his views while looking at a printed agricultural calendar in the middle of nowhere when I lived in the USA. No internet back then. Since then I have mollified my view as I have learnt more of history from the American perspective. Regarding the GlobalResearch site.globalresearch.ca "In an era of media disinformation, our focus has essentially been to center on the “unspoken truth ”. I don't have much appreciation for "fact checking" sites. The implication is their view means approved sites and publications are the only true news reports. Forgive me but I find some of the "fact checker" assertions truly laughable. I like alternate views, and counter arguments. The very notion that we should read only some publications "as the truth" is naive. They all have pluses and minuses depending on the subject matter at hand. Even GlobalResearch can come up with some really good stuff if the established news sources wont touch it for self interest reasons. I understand why a favoured USA news publication might not want to go upsetting powerful political figures. We need the alt news guys to carry the torch of truth in some circumstances, and of course they welcome the business. They need readers too. e.g. https://www.globalresearch.ca/un-syrian-chemical-weapons-report-exposes-washingtons-lies/5361671 https://www.globalresearch.ca/trump-should-pardon-snowden-assange/5729257 https://www.globalresearch.ca/monsanto-roundup-the-impacts-of-glyphosate-herbicide-on-human-health-pathways-to-modern-diseases/5342520 Just imagine, crossing swords with Monsantos RoundUp publicity department eh? ... I am beginning to see why they get classed as an unworthy news source now. Of course peoples views on these matters vary, but I would die of insanity if I just read the UK's BBC. They publish the biggest piles of twaddle at times. So lets see how they rate.... https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/bbc-news-live-tv/ Hmmm. Occasionally they get it right -g- Some of their reports are really famous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e-CxHOf424 FWIW, the then NY mayor Giuliani has much to explain about that day too, as James Corbett points out. and Dr Russel Baylock, how has he upset the Rockefeller doctrine of modern medicine and health? en.wikipedia.org Frankly, after reading his critical wikipedia profile, I would prefer him as a doctor to many others. The cry of "fake news" does not make much of an impression here.
