Jim, QCOM obviously knew the 3G standards for cdma would come. Their strategy has been to get as many players using cdma as possible to avoid "bypass". The big question is, is there a possible partial bypass of the royalties?, and if so, how much of a partial bypass will it be. If there are no other cost effective choices with similar advantages (doesn't seem like there is since everyone is talking "forms of cdma"), the Q is in good shape, if not, lookout. The timing of the GSM overlay is obviously part of the strategy.

The first one who shows up with the relevant QCOM statement gets a Tsing Tou or two form me after the shareholders meeting, assuming they show.
