MEGW is one of those "holding companies". I believe that means they sketch out a rough idea to make money, take in millions in stock, sort of kind of buy into other companies (i.e. exchange stock) to boost their diversified image and raise all sorts of expectations about "what if just one of their investments takes off", and then implodes into a dark hole while the principles retire very wealthy to Boca Raton.

Speaking of USAG... didn't this turn out to be a holding company consisting of a couple of guys working out of a girlfriend's apartment in NYC?

Just one small thing pokes holes in that idea...

1- can't short a BB stock.

2 - I don't think you can short a $1.38 short even if it's on the Big Board. somebody correct me if I'm wrong here.

So I'm suspicious of the guy who started the MEGW thread and said there's a huge short position on it. How can there be on a $0.38 BB penny stock?
