Just for the record, Cramer also stated he loved ASND.Gotta ask
yourself how in the next 6-12 months the M&A's in this biz will turn out?Does anyone on this thread see CSCO buying anyone out?

As an integrator, we work with both CSCO and LU. I spoke with me LU contacts about this prospect just last week. They indicated that while that would be compelling, LU quietly approached CSCO about union some time back and was spurned by Chambers. Seems LU does not add enough value to CSCO and Chambers is not looking for a partner at that level. So apparently any possible marriage of off. Now LU is looking at ASND (at least that's the whisper).

I like both companies. I'd hate to have to choose between them, but looks like that's what's ahead. The voice/data integration market is ripe for both and apparently CSCO wants to slug it out. I told my LU counterparts that I don't think they move fast enough to win against CSCO. Was that a nod I saw from my LU brethren? ;-)
