Another warm spell to get things done. I've put a line through more of my things to do - really good to see them all get done. Now that deer season is over,we usually wait for Christmas with family in Chicago area (jan's family). We usually do Thanksgiving as well, but this year that didn't happen. Chicago is all but locked down ,either by there goofy mayor or fear from many being sick with the flu. Not a good flu, but not what Covid was billed to be. That being said my 83 year old neighbor was taken to the hospital yesterday. He's over weight and has several heart stints. I call him every other day or so to check on his needs and he didn't answer the phone, so I called his daughter and she took him in to the hospital yesterday. I enjoy this time of the year to work on my cars in my school shop. Got my garlic in, the gardens are tilled, have my venison wrapped and in the freezer, too cold to paint or wash windows. TIME TO PLAY. Taking my 55 nomad front end sheet metal to the dip shop to get it ready to paint. Picked up my 283 fuelie engine last month and need to paint it along with all the accessories. Need to replace all of the brake lines, cylinders, and drums and paint them on my 62 409 Impala SS. This is the fun time and to do what I'm excited about getting done and not been able to prioritize over the summer seasonal demands. We'll get to Texas in early January and I'll finish up my hardie board soffit and facia job on the last easy section of the house. It's not nice outside, but the inside projects are very rewarding and satisfying, as they get done with my own hands. I have to do them over several times, but it is great to see the quality after they are done correctly. A master of none, but good if patient. Heck I'm not into production. How about that Cohu update tonight? Tomorrow should be fun to watch. Bob
