"Tripp is getting the typical drubbing for whistle-blowing."

Perhaps she was training her good friend and Monica just got it wrong.
Can't blame Bill for that. :-))

>>Don't forget Tripp got the idea to tape her conversations with Monica from that literary agent for self-perservation

If memory serves me correctly Ms Tripp was malighned by the White House after she testified that Ms Willie had been kissed and touched in an unwanted fashion in a private place. Ms Willie's blouse had been pulled up, her lipstick smeared and hair desheveled (sp? how bout messed up) - her demenor was also shaken. Ms Willie stated that Bill said, "I always wanted to do this" and then proceeded to do it.
The attempt by the White House to denigrate Ms Tripp caused her to make certain that next time she would have the evidence. The literary agent, it appears, suggested the method of securing evidence. Apparrently Mr Starr thought the idea had merit since he employed it as well.

Tripp is getting the typical drubbing for whistle-blowing. It's sad to see the society-at-large conspiring with an evil man to come down on a do-gooder.

Please, please save me from do-gooder friends like Tripp. Bear in mind that she began making her tapes long before either Lewinsky or Clinton had given testimony. So what was she planning to blow the whistle on? Their affair, if they indeed had one? Who set her up as Secretary of Presidential Morals?
