Pat --

I get it -- you're trying to get us to vote <g>.
I'm not too thrilled about the increase in shares.
I can't remember hearing that released before.
Maybe I missed it.

I've been very busy but once in a while try to get
up to speed on DSL. I read a good overview posted on
CMP Monday. But I'm still not too clear on the role of
Intel in the coalition. The article mentioned Intel
has one foot in the cable modem camp. Which reminds
me -- here in Tampa Bay we have constant ads for
Time Warner cable internet access -- they use a
motorola modem. Are you seeing such advertising in
your neck of the woods?

BTW the article mentioned that Lucent does have a
"proposal" for a DMT chipset.

<<Last week, Lucent Technologies' microelectronics group
threw its hat in the ring with a proposal for "WildWire,"
a splitterless ADSL with 1.5-Mbit/second downstream
capability, based on discrete multitone (DMT)
coding. Lucent is already showing prototypes of a
complete chip set with general-purpose DSP, data
converters and line drivers.>>

Happy investing,
Angela
