High desert drifter, Does the ISO 9000 make the corporation more profitable directly by eliminating costs, or does that accrue to others who rely on the certification to perform less incoming Q/C, since AMDs stuff is ISO9000. Of couse AMD can do less Q/C when they buy from an ISO9000 supplier as the confidence level on bought in parts and supplies will be higher. I am curious as to where the real payback is. Does it show up in better yield?, or lower costs?

Bill
