jim, << network management sites >>

Scanned over the 1st site. Just finished saving all site locations.
Thanks from me for the posts. Plenty of slack time research now
readily available for review. This should help clear many clouded issues prior to diving into networking stocks. Thanks again.
Larry

[NMS chat]

Jim --

You're right, my head is swimming, and you're right, too, to suggest I could have found the resources if I'd given it just a little thought. Ah, but once in awhile Moneypenny has to play the helpless female. :))

Truth is, this segment of the industry is evolving so fast I don't know how anyone can distinguish between the different companies. I've put my money on CrossKeys, but then I ran across several others at the show whose presentations were impressive.

I'll use your guideposts and see what I can dig up.

Thanks for taking the time to share. Also there's the up and coming field of web management. Ever heard of USWebCorp? There was a press release out on Friday and as they'd been referred to me already, I decided to take a tiny position. This one has no earnings and probably won't for a long time. Betting the horses. :)

Later --

Moneypenny

[USWest in Denver Post]

Thanks go to Larry Brew for sending this along. I think you'll like the number of subscriber lines they've targetted by mid year.

>>>U S West said it will roll out its MegaBit Services, which have been running in Phoenix since October, over 5.5 million customer lines in 40 cities across its 14-state region by midyear. It should be available to Denver-area customers in April or May, said Greg Gum, executive director for MegaBit Services. The service will be available in such metropolitan areas as Seattle, Minneapolis and Salt Lake City, as well as smaller cities such as Ames, Iowa, and Fargo, N.D.>>>>
