I was just pointing out Geoff that even the best laid plans, or theories can't predict a rumours effect. I am just trying to find out "if" the rumour could have substance. Doing the rapid math of 10m/day I would probably discount it. However, that won't erase the fact that the stock moved 25%, and I missed it!! John I believe we discussed in earlier posts on why "technicals" can not realy be effectively applied to juniors, here is a classic example of why they limited functionality. The Chief

Well keeping that in mind, let me tell you what I heard at a poker game in Vancouver, where three brokers were at: It's long been known that CRN has merrit as a possible discovery, and brokers are known for finding ways of maximizing their gains and minimizing their losses. One of the easiest things to do is buy the shares with no cash. How is this done? On many brokers account they can buy shares during the month, with no cash, as long as they clear up the balance by the end of the month. The clearing time is 1:00pm PST {AKA, TSE CLOSE TIME}. But we know that the VSE/ASE are open 30 minutes more. We also know that CRN are drilling. So what happens is the price of CRN will move after 1:00pm PST. WHY, cause it consider a FEB purchase... So brokers don't have to pay for it! This is one reason why the stock moved after 1:00pm, It's expect that the result will be out, or known before FEB is over. This give the Broker a free ride on CRN.
