Hi Bernie,

Bronco fans deserved that win!
Q. What do the LAPD and the Packers have in common?
A. Neither can stop a moving Bronco!!

Congratulations on the nice run with MRK. For a blue chipper like MRK, are you going to keep the Cash Reserve at about this level and start "vealies?" I use lower cash reserves on my steadier stocks, close to the level that I use for mutual funds.

Just a thought.
Best regards,
Tom

Congratulations, Bernie! Say, I'm hearing of several sells that happened this past week. Hope that's a nice trend developing!!

Btw, I finally picked up a copy of the Motley Fool Investment Guide. I've put off reading it long enough. Thought I'd read first hand about the Motley 4! :-) (Actually, the truth is I bought it months ago and I'm finally reading it!!!)

Nice that the local folks can feel so good about the Superbowl win. I recall the first year that the A's won the World Series. It was an incredible experience to drive through Oakland... even weeks later. I've never seen so many smiling faces. Stores had sings in their windows that reflected the feeling of the customers. It did tremendous things to change the self-image of the city. Redevlopment plans that had stalled for years were magically approved by the voters. Things changed for the good.
