yes, I get it. Lockdown absolutely work, if your goal is to stop the spread of COVID. But that was not my point. The evidence shows that COVID is not lethal to the vast majority of people under the age of 70 and the consequences of lockdowns are extremely bad for most people. So my point is simple. The costs outweigh the benefits. The more nuance approach is to simply lockdown people over 70 and people with co-morbidities and let everyone else go about their business and let them make their own choices. That will avoid 99% of the deaths.
