Jeff:

Your post was right on the mark... all except that little shot that you just had to throw in when you said "and not following the mania
presented here". Everyone should do their own work... its the sharing of each persons own work on these threads that makes working together so gooooood. We may not always be right, but what a learning experience. Jeff, you can add a lot of positive input to these efforts and to our mutual education. I just don't see the same "mania" that you do. I guess its just perspective. Half full or half empty. We do thank you for the positive comments and support in your post.

Hi Jeff, As it turns out I do follow the mania here !! I just don't follow it blindly ! Most people here don't follow blindly either. Some of the reasons why are ones that you have stated: The small cap market tends to be unpredictable and fickle -- but when they're in favor, the returns can be fantastic ! Doug's TA and the work of other's here is far from foolproof, but they've definitely helped narrow the odds.

Everyone should take this thread for what it is: a first screen of the thousands of stock out there. The best way to think of it is like this: This thread may not always pick overnight winners, but it does provide a place to go to get some opinions and prevent yourself from picking a disaster ! When you compare this thread's advice with Wall Street's so-called analysts being COMPLETELY FOOLED by companies at a rate of about 20 PER WEEK, this thread aint such a bad place to go for advice after all.

Regards,
Chris
