Interesting. We all know how "easy" it is to design chips and you just find someone in Korea or Taiwan, which our NBA players and owners are too scared to say is independent from the Chinese Communists, to build them.

You don't have to worry about messy things like capacity and schedules as we know the Asians will tell you when there are problems and delays right away. <sarcasm enhancement mode off>

It took more than 20 years longer than I thought it would for PC and server leaders to start talking about making their own chips again. I wonder where they will get all the design engineers from to design, test, build, etc. these devices.

I believe Microsoft is an even smaller customer than Apple but like you say, it is a trend and it can start adding up. Good for me with my AMAT and LRCX shares I suppose.
