So glad in your little rural hamlet that no one is hungry and all the children are above average- but can you...read...Steve? nationalgeographic.com It may not be happening outside your door, but if you have paid any attention to what people are writing about this, you'd know It's Out There. One ER visit for those who don't die of COVID-19 (maybe 10-15% of those infected) will easily tap that $1200 and from articles I read before the pandemic - 60% or so of families have less than $500 saved and that article was from 2016. With insurance my youngest got a $500 copay for an infected blister on her foot. Maybe you live amongst a cohort of gentlemen farmers. I doubt that how you describe things is going on in the nearest trailer park.
