There are some quaint differences. For example, the US wife of the president helped immigrants. The Korean's president wife works to help North Korean refugees. Both are lawyers. Both are doing the exact same thing - helping the downtrodden their country hates.

I agree it's a tad bit more sophisticated but isn't this because South Korea is one of the most connected countries in the world? They use a lot more cell phone stuff that's not allowed by US presidents. In the US version, the guy who takes over as president has his phone taken away from him as soon as he becomes president. The NK guy uses it his phone all the time. Everyone in the Blue House uses cell phones all the time so everything is faster. Where's the security in a cell? They act like Trump.

Like I said, I had to force myself to watch the US version till the end. It was so predictable. The same is happening in the Korean version. Both had problems that were unsolvable and in the last few minutes both find solutions. I imagine this will be the storyline throughout the Korean version also.

Even the guy who's rescued is the same in both versions. Both were involved in the bombing and both left the speech to hide in bunkers just before the bomb went off.

You watched the entire Korean version and I watched the entire US version. Hopefully the Korean version won't be so damn predictable.
