You make a good point about predictability.

One of the primary things I like about South Korean films is that they are less predictable and much more creative and have less formula and commercial aspects.

One of my friends son was a director of the movie Juno. He told me Hollywood did not have enough scripts.

And in South Korea they write the scripts, as I hear.

But three of the biggest variables/differences is that one, in Hollywood, they very often make the movie revolve around a couple of actors, whereas in South Korea the actors support the movie.

Two, Hollywood makes too many movies that are pure commercial crap where they use a simple script most of us could write in a day and then throw in a couple of big stars like John Malkovich, shoot it cheaply with lots of gratuitous violence, sex and car chases and put it out and make millions.

The last thing thing is simply the sophistication of the movies across all aspects e.g. dialogue, casting , acting, photography and all around professionalism.

And yes, South Korea has the entire country with an internet 100 times faster than ours.

And I have no idea what that means, I just read it-lol!!??

South Korea has also put a couple of corrupt presidents in jail and it should be a piece of cake to put Trump in jail :)>!
