We both agree The Queen's Gambit is a great piece of art. I see its won three Nielson ratings already, making it the first in history so it's possible to do something good. I'm not sure it'd work as a movie because it happens over so many years but still it'd be nice...kinda like Downton Abbey.

I kinda like super hero stuff but good god, it's getting old fast. It's all special effects and if I had to tell you anything about any of the characters I'd be lost. There was this old timer by the name of Alfred Hitchcock and I've seen some of his stuff. He created the end of the story, followed by it not really being the end and the horror continues. Now, everyone does it. I know they're going to do it before they do it...that's how common it is.

Btw, Queen's Gambit is rated something like 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. I tend to agree with them more often than not.

I'm not sure SK has strong leading actors yet. When they start paying them $40 million for a few days work they'll produce trash too because all the money will go to the actors and not the writers.
