I think we misnunderstand each other. The first application of Vapor! according to the CC will be the external version. This is the version I am talking about.

This decision was forced on Iomega due to lack of OEM support. It seems Iomega now has the strategy of "We'll show those bastards that the public will accept it!"

The external drive looks bigger than the devices it's supposed to work with. The only people who will buy it IMO are Iomaniacs, and some gotta have it tech-heads. The belt-loop holster idea of mine that started as a joke is looking like the only real way to use this drive, if it is supposed to capture data on the fly as a Flash card does. This would also assume that Vapor! external will have a PC card interface. The internal version we'll have to wait and see how it bloats the size, because I have not seen any internals. I haven't even seen that Hitachi prototype they had at Comdex. It could have been one of the larger digital cameras, not one of the little Casios that will fit in your pocket. Until they unveil their internal version in real life, we will not know how it affects the size.
