Excellent post Rick!!!
I agree with your assessment. Certainly if you have become familiar with the new management at MTICyou understand that their focus is marketing, sales and more importantly service. They spent a great deal of time on the conference call detailing their service organzition and how important their expansion is to setting themselves apart form others and in line with EMC. Until recently they were too small to advertise and promote like an EMC but they are on track.

Rick, the appearance of it is, is that MTIC is potentially EMC's primary competition. More important, MTIC is the only company currently in a position to challenge EMC's dominance. MTIC has superior products, especially when considering price. And now that MTIC has focused attention and money on after-market support, there should be nothing standing in their way.

Emerging companies like BoxHill (BXH) and Storage Dimensions (STDM) want in on the action, however. In your opinion, do they have a chance at a larger piece of the pie?

Also, for anyone else with an opinion, at $11, isn't this puppy a screaming take-over/buy-out candidate?
