Yes. I got cash and stock for Finisar shares. I knew they usually drop in the first year so I elected that rather than all stock or all cash. Then I used the cash to buy when it dropped. Got sort of lucky the COVID took it down to my worst case price on my chart channel.

A lot may depend on if a GOP Senate gives president Biden money to help the economy or if they get even for Pelosi screwing Trump and don't give any more money to help. We live in interesting times.

FWIW regarding REITs and warehouses... We have a couple malls that closed and they are getting snatched up and repurposed for warehouses and shipping centers. I haven't been inside so I don't know how they are going to do the layout of converting what was small stores to something forklifts can navigate or conveyors can run through.
I don't know if this is our location specific or if this will be a national trend.
