Trump will resign before any of that can be completed. He's working on pardons right now IMHO.

Relax, Lou. Let's look at this one by one:

1. 25th Amendment - Even if a majority of the cabinet votes for removal, Trump can appeal to Congress, where 2/3rds would need to support removal. It's not going to happen, especially when he's gone at noon on the 20th anyway.

2. Impeachment - This is just talk. You could maybe impeach Trump, but I doubt the hearings could happen that fast. Even if he was impeached, you need a 2/3rds majority in the Senate to convict and remove. Not happening.

3. Resignation - Not happening. Trump is planning a sh*t storm of pardons on the night of the 19th.

The US capital has seen acts of violence in the past, including a bombing, gunfire in the capital, and people climbing up it. It's just been almost 50-years since the last time, so nobody remembers. I think the last one was the Weather Underground back in 1971.

It's amazing that Dr. Martin Luther King gave a speech before 250,000 people on the DC mall, and it was peaceful. There was a Million Man March in the 90's on the mall that was nothing but black males, and that was peaceful. This week was a couple thousand people, and we had this happen.
