Sign 'em up, let 'em build their business around it and then get sneaky: In an update from my ISP: All SWBT ISDN PRI users, including Distance Learning, SelectData, SelectVideo, and SmartTrunk users, should be aware of a new charge called "Interstate Access Charge" which is being applied to all services, including existing contracts, effectve Jan 1, 1998. The charge is $56.66 per span, we are attempting to get additional info on this and why it can be applied to existing contracts (up to a 10% increase in costs in some cases). All large commercial users should check your telephone bills for January. To our knowledge, no information or notice has been given to customers at this point in time concerning this rate increase other than "call the FCC".
