JM, that 300,000 shares block was made at the low of the day (2.125), thus I am not so sure it was a purchase, it could have been a sale and the MM has been busy since then spreading these shares out at a slightly higher price. Soneone here said it was an insider buying, but I have not seen any independent proof, and it is unlikely that such a big block would be let go without the MM accumulating it at lower prices. The MM has to eat as well.
