Janice,

>>Time will tell. But they'd have been awful fools to give her money.

I stress that we don't know where the money came from. But it is suspicious. And don't forget that this bunch has a pretty slimy reputation for hiding money transfers. I refer to the infamous cattle futures trades, the Webster Hubble "consulting fees", Bhuddist temple contributions, Riyadi/Lippo Group "support", etc.

Jack

On Meet The Press Monica's lawyer held out an olive branch to Clinton all but yelling Let's make a deal. He also admitted to being left hanging by Starr, no deal there (so now they will flip to Clinton). Lawyer also said he believes this will all blow over, Clinton will stay in office and that the whole case may be dismissed (subtly hinting that it could happen with Monica's help). I think he just wants to keep the wayward vixon out of jail. He said they have no political agenda.
