This is highly uncalled for.

Gene was the only one who correctly predicted Intel would earn $0.88 in Q497.

Of course, his prediction was "done-in" via accounting tricks!

I was merely pointing out some of the reasons I think analysts are forecasting flat earnings for 1998.
I don't think the transition to PII is as fast as Intel expected, and from my experience, it's not the fastest. I would like to see your data.
In fact, I think Intel will be shipping P55 in December.
