Why? Are you planning on slapping a trademark/copyright on the term. I heard Jay Leno use the word, but I'm not sure when that was. Isn't that interesting maybe he has been perusing the Feelings thread looking for good subject matter. I have always thought SI has an abundance of literary and comedic talent on board. Its amazing, after this is all over, we will have a whole new raft of words and terms that didn't exist in this context before, ZIPPERGATE(tm jg) Maybe, another term would be suckergate hehehe 0:-)

Jim, the term "Zippergate" sort of exploded into general usage. I remember hearing it from every direction simultaneously. While it would be flattering to think that everyone on earth reads the feelings thread, I doubt Jay Leno gets his jokes here!!! I think you are very clever with words and phrases, and appreciate your writing regardless of whether someone else may have stolen your idea. If you put "TM" after your next funny idea, perhaps it might offer some small protection.
