Come on now, Pete. You've got to let me take off my CAPS LOCK on occasion <g>. This topic calls for raunchy headlines AND serious discourse. Everyone gets to play. A few days ago, the consensus was that Clinton was history. Now the majority thinks he slicked his way out of another scandal. I just opined that the verdict is still out. Unlike most of the serious posters here, I don't have strong feelings about Clinton, one way or the other. Congress keeps his budget busting spending proclivities in check and Clinton effectively cancels the social agenda of the right wing religious conservatives. The status quo suits me just fine. I couldn't care less if he parked a harem in the West Wing. I just welcome the opportunity this ludicrous situation presents to knock a few blue noses out of joint and lighten up and enjoy the humor. If I perceived the country suffering major negative consequences as a result of this affair, I'd get damned deadly serious about it in a minute. I'm sure that most other jokesters, from across the political spectrum, would concur. With that having been said, I'll rejoin the class clowns and HEADLINE composers and boldly boink where no one has boinked before. - James PS Who's going to get post #6969?
