Vince... Exlanation of what I meant with Luck

Each day we have opportunities that we can either let go or
take advantage of. It is the ability to make the correct choice
that can make us successful.

The choices are usually made using knowledge, skill, and intuition
(collected experience through life). Many persons can't exlain
these combinations in decision making and they call them "LUCK".

I do not.

Enough philosophy for today.

Loki

PS. Possibly an investor can say this about picking good stocks.

vince, when i worked at cpq it was on the brink of going out of biz several times.
even as late as 1987, the street said cpq wouldn't last til 1988 and
october calls became worthless...absolutely worthless..
so I bot a bunch of them.
you see..you know nothing about the pc industry..nothing...
you were just a kid so why would you <ggg>
cpq is allot stronger now...when I was throwing everything into cpq it was on the brink of out of biz a bunch of times. until 1994 cpq had to put everything on the line and go for broke every yr.
they don't have to do that now.
learn some history boy<hhggggggg>
In fact when I was working in the stcokroom you were in grade school and when I was starting cpq you were chasing girls.
you don't deserve to call cpq a favorite stk of yours.
