Dippy, From my observations the anti-clinton posters were not in the same camp as the jokesters. The ACers were quite serious. Just because one makes jokes at the farcical situation doesn't make one anti-Clinton.....

Humour is often the best way to deal with a very upsetting situation. No one in their right mind wants to see the President go down for having an affair. It's bad for business. And what's bad for business is bad for the stock market. Most posters here are investors. If Clinton goes down so will the Markets.

<efforts at getting a minimum-wage job at the local comedy club bears fruit!>

Dude! I deteckt a slight edginess, dare I say an underlying hostility here. Yes...yes, I'm sure I'm right. Kinda like the "regards" thing where the regards were supposed to be right before the dude was gonna go away.

Here is the deal from my viewpoint. And I know I speak not for everyone, but for myself as well.

Slick deserves it. So does Monica. It doesn't mean I don't like him. It only means that it's really really funny. And if you ain't laughin', you should lighten up and have less or more beer!
