My computer spending frenzy continues...

Ordered a 2tb SSD for the FX-8350. Amazon prime will have it here tomorrow.

amazon.com

Also separate PCI and PCIe ethernet cards with a crossover cable for my 2 computers through Newegg coming from China.

PCIe card -- newegg.com
PCI card -- newegg.com
Crossover cable -- newegg.com

The goal is for the old computer to serve as an NAS.

Old computer SSD upgrade -- Novabench Scores

This is disappointing and had forgotten this motherboard only supports SATA II and not SATA III.

I have a couple of FX mobos here that support SATA III, but rebuilding this box will be a pain.
