I watched his entire press conference. He was clearly stressed and uncomfortable, doing his best to avoid any discussion of excess speculation resulting from flooding the system with liquidity. He was stumbling over his words, and at times sounded scared. Perhaps he understands that eventually markets are more powerful than governments.
