Richard- Maybe my approach is flawed, but I would like to import the 450+/- stocks I focus on to be scanned in ms instead of Q+. Am I missing something? -Alex

Richard......one last question (actually, maybe two).....I've looked at the formulization for Q+ that Brooke has done and it looks AWFULLY complicated vs MSWIN or TC2000. Are you happy with the ability to program it (you are far mre sophisticated than I, of course, but I'd like your feedback). Also, I'm still getting good kickouts from my TC2000 scans and I'd hate to give those up unless I can do better in Q+. Oh, yes.....what about GET? Can I read Q+ data in GET? I use TC2000 for that data as well. Thanks again. BW Chan

QP like most vendors that don't own Equis is held to 255. the 6.5 limit is 2000, but if you think that file management can be slow put 2000 in there. Why would you want 500 or 2000 in one dir.? Richard, I want the whole market in one directory and lists with as many entries as I want. System Testing, Explorations are all valid reasons. Truth is the metastock 255 limit SUCKS! Its pathetic and the worst data format I have seen. There is no excuse why the whole market can't exist in one tight DB like TC/2000 or Quotes Plus. Reality is that you can't do it but thats not to say its in anyway excusable... Sean
