Doug: You, such a smart person, didn't know Canada using metric system? Gosh, I am surprised. But I do think 75 mile/hr. (120km/hr) speed limit is too high. If I remember correctly, the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu speedway was 140km an hour several years ago. Maybe they reduced somewhat after they had too many accidents. If you drive in China, especially countryside, be careful. I would think twice. It is almost a common practice for truck drivers drink liquor for dinner, and of course, they still drive after dinner.
