Hi, Dave

Just using your post as a springboard.

I went to a computer show today, one of those geekfests where a bunch of vendors set up tables at a hotel or somewhere and sell computer stuff at bargain prices.

ATAPI Zip drives were plentiful all over the place, from most vendors. Best price for an ATAPI Zip drive was 75 bucks for cash, 78 for credit card. If anyone's interested I can post the contact information, as they will do mail order.

All types of Zips, as well as Jaz and Ditto, and media for all, were all over the show. Interestingly, LS-120s were more common than I have ever seen them, though less so than Zip. LS-120 internals (the only type I saw) were going for 110 to 120 each. Note that the combination of a Zip and a floppy is still less money. However, a couple of the vendors I spoke to said some of their customers are building systems with LS-120s in place of the floppy drives.
