Great story! Not surprised - docs in Arkansas tend to be an independent lot - and likely to do what they think is good for the patient, rather than worry about what Faucistas may think.

Haven’t seen the actual article, but heard that JAMA admitted the error of their ways and was critical about the attacks against HCQ.

Ivermectin - sounds like it’s effective. There doesn’t seem to be an agreement about its plasma half life - I see numbers from 12 hours to several days. In my view, that makes it a bit complicated using it for prophylaxis. HCQ is simpler - half life is roughly a month, so, once loaded, taking a dose every couple of weeks should do the trick.
