You don't know what you're talking about. Absentee ballots are for "absentee votes", which means a person meets the criteria for absentee voting. Which generally means, you know, they're "absent". Absentee ballots are requested of the state in advance of the election and may be accepted or rejected. Mail in ballots are mailed WITHOUT REQUEST and are used to rig elections by encouraging people to vote who otherwise would not bother. This year, they were seriously abused, including for extending the voting deadline beyond that provided by law, but mostly in an effort to harvest ballots that otherwise would not have been voted. This is why David Plouffe made it clear that it was ESSENTIAL to get mail-in ballots in place in MI, PA, and GA this year. That was considered essential by Plouffe to guarantee a win. And he was absolutely correct. These were NOT absentee ballots.
