Why do automotive chips need to be on the latest processes of 24nm and under?
They always have long development cycles that start two or more years ago.
Yet they are impacted by the supply issues.

Ok, but why?
If the problem is the supply capacity, then semicaps and chip makers will do well going forward.
Otherwise, they are peaking.
