concerning portfolio prices... good point. Due to popular demand, the prices on the portfolio page represent the price that would close the position, ( Bid price for a sell, etc...) which is also used for account value and other calculations, to allow customers to easily calculate their own Buying Power and account value. Previously, the portfolio report showed lastsale, which was not used in any account calculations -peter

Datek Online Traders, Wire instructions can now be submitted over the Internet (LogIn, go to Account Options, click Wire-Set). An authorization letter would only be necessary if the new wire instruction account title did not match the Datek Online account name. Details of this procedure and adjustments to the current wire set-up instructions will be added to the fund request information shortly. Check writing eligibility extends to Individual, Joint Tenants with Rights of Survivorship (JTWROS) and Tenants in Common accounts. Both margin-enabled and disabled accounts are eligible. Check writing sign-up can be found under Account Options - Checking Sign-up and activation should be available within the week.
