Fraud is a legal standard that may be impossible to meet, but a race may be stolen by means that either are fraud but can’t be proved to that high bar, OR which is stolen by other means such as false statements that convince the public to vote another way. Or as in this case, four years of false investigations, none of which had merit, and many of which were illegally yet aren’t technically fraud. In the FBI case against Trump there was quite a bit of fraud but there there was more that was just scurrilous behavior by FBI and political Democrats. Like the falsely predicated impeachments. The so called Trump lies were never lies. The lies came from the left. Like those who claimed he suggested injecting bleach. Just made up bullshit, AFAIK, right off of SNL. That didn’t stop any of you from perpetuating the nonsense. The “fine people” hoax, never happened. News media edited his comments carefully to yield a certain result. I’d wager you still believe it today. The idiotic clam he mocked a disabled reporter, absolute lie. You still believe it. And I understand. If you’re predisposed to believe something it takes only a small push in the wrong direction. But I was asking about the media and your answer was just like those: The end justified the means. But that is itself a lie. They refused to report facts about bout candidates, time an again choosing to not report any negative information on Biden and choosing to falsify information reported against Trump. Somehow you rationalize that behavior as acceptable. We have a First Amendment that gives the Fourth Estate special privilege in exchange for providing honest, fair and essential news coverage that is necessary for our government to function. They failed to do so in cooperation with partisan objectives. I’m not sure how one can view that as acceptable behavior. Self regulation of the media is failed, and we have a pretty big problem going forward that Democrats sure as hell won’t address. I have always believed in a free media but it may be time to work on it some. Yet, you don’t see it as a problem?
