Any Canuck gov simply needs BC AB and Ontario 197 seats..Big Majority .. .. and QC simply does not count then ..

Quebec's status goes back to MacDonald's Confederation deal .. and he called them (Quebecers) French dogs during the Metis Rebellion .. saying he didn't care what they thought ... Politics is $hit :)

Mr. Trudeau being a Liberal is not a problem for me.. his incompetence is .. I tend to the centre/left and my three tenets are more NDPish

Likely though finding a party that is socially Liberal and fiscally responsible.. is impossible :)

and wrt roots.. they do not count for much aftre a few generations .. Many Chinese in Canada do not trust the homeland :)

Robert Duval (actor) was pretty anti Canada.. Anna Paquin insists her name is Pack Win ..

Canadian western Curler Connie Laliberté insits her name be pronounced Lally Berty :)

Keeping Quebec happy has cost Canada more than it's worth. I've sometimes wondered if a government could be elected on the promise of kicking Quebec out of Canada. They will surely have the votes of French nationalists and many in the western Canada. They will also have the votes of neutral Canadians if their overall policies are good.
