Maybe. But I really don't think racism has much to do with "ideas" or logic. People have a fear of unknown, and if that fear can also be combined with personal ego boost, then even better. Racism offers both in an easy to swallow format, so long as you don't have any personal interactions to let reality rain on those beliefs.

The least racist societies are those that have close interaction with the other races. The most racist ones are the ones are fairly homogeneous. A good comparison would be NY vs SD or Toronto, Canada vs anywhere else in the world ;)

All races appear to be prone race-nationalism.

Mixing is still progressive and threatening to many. And the classism (including castes) within tribalism is under-reported.

Change is slower than we thought back in the Age of Aquarius.

Self-determination vs. modern colonialism is also loaded with political landmines in today's world of immigration and travel as well as educated classes with trans-national internet.

where do the Asian's get their idea's on Blacks?

It is my understanding that the peoples of Thailand and Vietnam had problems with the people of Indonesia dating from pre-colonial times. There was a perception of "head hunters" concerning the darker skinned island peoples. There was always a push for to move south and the groups came into conflict.
