Nobody knows if this is the right time to buy until 1 year from now. That's the frustrating thing about investing. SPTR is going to have to move on its own. As you can see the awesome NASDAQ rally has barely budged SPTR. SPTR could go down a lot further, if earnings are bad. Although I don't think it will go down below 7. In fact, even if they miss earnings, investors might rally it a bit out of sheer relief. Who knows? Buy a couple hundred shares, drink a beer enjoy life and check back in 6 months.

To All: SPTR is looking very good this week. They're trading at 11 1/4 today on higher than average volume, despite this being a profit taking day after yesterday's magnificent tech performance. I'm hoping this is the start of a pre-earnings announcement run up (report due on 2/20). Does anyone have hard news, speculation, or even rumor about Spectran prospects? We may not be "White Hot" anymore, but we're not dead. Let's liven up this thread. Frank
