True of every communist regime.

If that's true, China seems to be doing very well despite having to govern 1.6 billion people......they are second in the world economically and unless we change our ed programs and produce more local PhD's they will lead, imo, in about 30 years.;.

Cuba produces excellent doctors....

My impression is very communist country puts a premium on education. The US puts a premium on sports. Millions upon millions are spent on stadiums for everything from hockey to baseball, to football to you name it. How many professionals do these stadiums create? Not what we spend on them that's for sure.
