Betty....Have to disagree. Don't see how anyone can be in favor of the death penalty in some cases and not in others. Mrs. Tucker is certainly not the 1st death row inmate to make a dramatic change for the better while awaiting execution. Pauly Klass's killer could possibly go through the same transformation while he sits on Death Row. I also feel that if a Pro-Death penalty advocate is somewhat squeamish about executing a woman, then they should reconsider their position on the death penalty itself. Mrs. Tucker deserves the death penalty. She should have no second chance at life. Her victims sure didn't.

In terms of a verifiable deterrent to crime, consealed carry laws (like Texas')do a better job than the death penalty.

Yeah, it's a tough subject. It really is. Texas is pretty tough on criminal behavior, that's for sure. Whatever happens, I'm sure it will be real interesting to the press.
