"That's my long answer/thought why Lumber is at record prices."
I can't fault you on the length of your answer !! {;-) ...... And, in addition, the inclusion of a myriad of National and International "factors" that could, or maybe could not, affect a wide range of industries, and their companies, within the Stock Market .....

Personally I like Warren Buffett's Observation when it comes to where an individual investor should concentrate his efforts ------>

"Ignore the Macro events, and rather concentrate on the business specific Micro events. Concern yourself with the long term prospects of a business rather than attempting to predict the short term fate of the stock market. Ask yourself, are you an analyst of the National Economy, or are you a Business/Company Analyst ?"
