Alan, If the integrated browser is needed for all the other products then MSFT is trying to use force on the judge. They cannot just play ignorant little farm boys here, they are in the throws of making it impossible for Netscapes browser to co-exist with a number of other common programs, all by MSFT, suspicious eh?. Will they let Netscape integrate the same way??, or will there be a sea of undocs that make that hard to implement if Netscape tries.
It is a stonewall approach to things, and I think they are not dealing with stonewall Jackson, and he will not take kindly to it.

So in effect MSFT will lose all the sales of these other products?, or will the clients go ahead and load IE4 in desperation?
