Jim, I see that IFF (if and only if) the market gets another 100 or so points higher that we COULD have a real upward move. MACD turned positive today on VGY... but it also did so the middle of Dec and first of year. But I have strong sell signals flying RIGHT NOW!!! Bill

" Puts in an uptrend..you got to be darn good to even break even. I don't think that I know it. They always get more ( time premium ) during the uptrend. " james....I have seen then STRIP the premium right off of puts in an uptrend and strip it off the calls in a downtrend... and jack the prem of a put in a downtrend and jack the premium of a call in a uptrend.... btw, what ever happened to that outside reversal of Ground Zero's...did we ever get it ? here is something you all might want to read biz.yahoo.com bill can you point me to your post about how you use the VIX
