Really, nothing at all was proven with that study cited. Maybe marginal proof in the case of a "flatten the curve situation" (i.e slowing down the transmission rate of a highly contagious disease), Proof that would need further investigation and clarification, but that is it. Overall it proves nothing. Example: Since when do health workers, working in a medical environment equate to the general public? That is just for starters. There are more holes in that study then a very large, finely woven, fishing net. Florida (as cited by Ivor Cummings in my previous msg) is a good example that indicated clearly that masks (etc) don't do anything. How big is the sample size of Florida vs California? It's real study of people in real life. In real terms is says all those procedures are worse then doing nothing, and there are probably good reasons for that. I do not know why some arbitrary decision was made to get every body wearing masks, I can guess, but the reasons where not anything to do with science that I know of. However, Politics is more likely the cause of having to wear masks.. and the rest. Anal swabs included.
