John, thanks for some serious consideration of my post from earlier today. It would be nice to get some clarification on this issue. I seem to think that Atkins was saying that 82 DUV steppers were installed in chip fabs over the last quarter. Deanha's question seemed to be directed to what Angus thought the ratio of laser sales (CYMI sales) would be to DUV stepper installs over the near term. To that Angus answered "about equal". Please, if someone else reads this exchange differently drop me a line. I hoping that the rate of DUV stepper sales and installs increases. I'm not certain but I think it was in the ASMLF earnings announcement or conference call that while overall stepper sales were flat for the last quarter, the percentage of DUV sales was up.
